BodybyFisher
does anybody have a picture of how my dash pad comes off my 93 fleetwood broughm rwd Typically, you must take the AC vents out. You do that by using a 1 inch thin puddy knife on the side to dislodge a 'catch', when you put the knife in, gently pull the vent. When you get the vents out, there are screws in there that when you remove them the pad comes off. Here is a photo from my 96 with the vents out, Mike Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
KevinW
In the case of the 1993-1996 Fleetwoods (D-car, RWD), some fasteners are located beneath the horizontal woodgrain strip (carefully pry this outward, both left and right of the instrument cluster). I think the remaining fasteners are in the defroster grill area (remember to disengage the two sensors). Once they're all removed, the cover needs to be pulled rearward (towards yourself as seated in the car) to disengage the remaining tabs and clips. ___________________________________________________

gc_caddy
It's a VERY tight fit between the grill and vent opening. I couldn't find a thin enough blade. I just used a small screwdriver and released the catch from inside the grill (this is also the instruction from the FSM). It's quite easy to release the catch using a small screwdriver and a flashlight.
