Delta
Ive got an annoying squeak at low speed from the drivers side front wheel, intermittent when in forward, however, constant when in reverse, definately coming from the front drivers side. Any clues where to start?
BodybyFisher
The brakes have a wear sensor on them that squeals when the brakes get low and need replacing. The sensor is a spring steel piece, that when the brake pads get thin, it scrapes on the rotor squeeling and notifying you that you need to replace your brakes soon. If it goes away or changes it tone when you touch your brakes, it is the wear sensor for sure. That is one source of squeak/squeal/scraping noise that quickly comes to mind. growe3
I had an annoying slight squeak that would come and go. Turned out to be the weather strip around the door; they were dry and squeaked against the painted body surfaces. I wiped them down with Meguiars Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant, and no more squeak. Worth a try, if nothing else the weather strips will look nice. cuddy
Had the same problem before, it was because of a worn brake pads. Try to check your brake pads it might be worn and needs a replacement. Also check other car parts like brake rotors, cv joint and others. Ensure that everything is in good working condition. Good luck, hope you'll solve this problem soon. If the pads are worn you'll eventually hear a grinding sound.
