MAC
I'm beginning to think I have a bad right strut/shock. I seem to remember that when a strut is worn it can give clear signs such as popping. Has anyone ever experienced a bad strut and what did it sound like? Even when a accelerate fairly quickly from a standing position I'm hearing a popping sound. Could this be a strut problem or perhaps a ball joint. Again, also when I make a left turn it sounds like the whole front end on the right side is ready to fall off.

WarrenJ
When the struts began to "clunk" a bit on my '95 Eldorado my mechanic took the cap off its top and placed my palm on the strut shaft. While he bounced the front bumper up and down I could distinctly "feel" the clunk. New struts solved my problem. Regards, Warren There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
