ROCKnROLL
The wife came home from work with the window down. She said it won't go up. She's right. When you hit the button you hear nothing. Is there something to check before I start taking the door panel off? The power lock on the door works fine. What do you guys think it is? Door control module? Thanks, Stefan (ROCKnROLL)
Marika
Doesn't the window ride on a track? If so, it may have fell off. If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

Thanks, Stefan (ROCKnROLL) Hold the power window switch in the "up" position and slam the door. Many times, that technique will get a stuck window motor working again. danbuc
Was the window making a loud clicking-snapping sound when it when all the way up or down before it stopped working? I ask because the front drivers side window in my 98 STS is making disturbing sounds and I am starting to wonder if it is a sign of something bad. Any info would be great. Logan
Slam the door shut holding the 'up' window mode switch. 90% will start working again. Josh
The same thing happened to me on my 85 coupe deville... I took it down to my mechanic and he changed the regulator. Its worked fine since then. I'd assume it is probably the same problem but I wouldn't know for sure... we have two different caddys. If I were you I would try taking of the door panel to check and see if every thing is in tact... sometimes windows just go off thier track. When you try to put the window back up can you hear the motor engage?
