Keepin' The Green Machine . . .

It's nice having two Eldorados parked out front! Which one will I take to work tomorrow? I wonder <chuckle>.

However . . .

It's been less than a week (took the green ETC '01 home Wednesday 1/16), but I think this green thing is a keeper. Yes, I realized the ETC was supposed to be only a little bit quicker than the '98 ESC, but this thing is a screamin' meemey! CRAP! Yeah, I realize it's not all that quicker, but it certainly makes a screaming impression on a person!

I now have an Onstar vehicle, only one month after Onstar died <sigh>. Bose: Yeah . . . . despite other's complaints, I really like it.

It has TRUMPET HORNS!!!

Regards,

Warren

There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises

:o On an '01? NICE!

I didn't know the car came with that. I don't think I've ever been more delighted about such a serendipitous thing in my life!

Thursday evening (the day after I brought the car home) I left behind me a very major co-worker having a cigarette outside the Employee Entrance while I entered my car which was near that entrance. I hit the remote; mistakenly I hit the "lock" button instead of the "unlock" button. The horns sounded.

"YIKES," was what I heard behind me. He was the boss of the boss of my boss. I hope he didn't drop his cigarette.

That is such a nice looking car. There isn't very many eldorados around here and I've always wanted one. The only thing I don't like about them is the front end, I wish they would have changed with the sevilles to have that front end. It just seems a bit smoother. Don't get me wrong, I'd still take one in a heart beat. Right before I sold my '75 eldorado, I was thinking about taking the trumpet horns out of it and putting them in my 02 seville.

Thanks,

Patrick7997 added compliments and remarked he'd like to see this car with a "saddle" brown top and interior. If I had my choice, that saddle brown top would be there. Interiorwise, I've always favored the "shale" interior.

P.S. I understand what you mean about there not being so many Eldorados around there; I spent over a year looking for this one.
