TDK
Kenta, One of this Forum's members is Logan, and his company can properly repair (or perhaps swap) these light assemblies. Good luck, Add power to leave problems behind. Most braking is just - poor planning.

Bill K
I have the same problem. Logan said that there is no repair for the 98+ brake lamps. They all will fail. Need to replace it with a 2002 or newer lamp assembly.
JasonA
Need to replace it with a 2002 or newer lamp assembly. Bill, do you know what is different about the 2002+ assembly? Logan
All the 1998-mid 2001 lamps leak water. The LEDs survive but the circuit boards are a mess. The mid 2001 and newer used a much better plastic sealer. Dont waste your time with a used 1998-mid 2001 lamp. It will have the same problem. The part # is 25697411.
