Shock Sensor

Okay,

The car runs fine ('95 Eldorado). Yes, I've got the Service Manuals. YES, I've searched. BUT, yesterday a little itty bitty module fell out of the dashboard. It's less than 1.5"x1.5"x1.25"; it says "shock module" on it. It appeared to fall out of a "door" immediately above the brake pedal on the lower edge of the dash panel. What the *%$ is it??

Jes' curious . . . after all, it's running fine.

Regards,

Warren

There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises

It is a shock sensor for an alarm, you really should secure it against something so you don't get false alarms in the future. Just get under there a fasten it with a wiretie to a piece of metal or a large wire harness.
