ok here is a better description. 3 weeks ago i bought the car from a caddilac dealer here in milwaukee, the very next day the check engine light came on, and also my dash was displaying service stabilization. brought it in and they said they took care of the issue. the very following day after that service engine light comes back on bring it in and they say they accidentally must have bumped a vaccuum line loose. problem of the service engine light is now gone since. since then i havent seen the service stabilization message either. and for the past couple of days when its really cold i wake up to goto work go outside and start the car and rides very bumpy in the rear for a few miles and seems to go away however today for some reason it didnt go away it was always there and im very unhappy with the ride. any suggestions? i have nothing displaying anything wrong on the dash. and i hear the compressor on in the rear upon startup for a good 30-45 seconds then shut off and can hear it kick in during rides through the city. i love the car otherwise but am very frustrated. thanks in advance

Sounds like a cover-up to me.

It would help us to help you if you would learn how to display the trouble codes (DTCs) your on-board modules will store. Read here for more information.

http://www.caddyinfo.com/readingcodes.html

The messages you see are very general in nature; the trouble codes (DTCs) are somewhat more specific.

Service department advisors are not necessarily required to know anything about your car! They are simply an interface (interference) between you and the technician that actually services your car.

You could be the victim of a communication problem.

msm b1860 current

None of these codes are anything to be concerned about or are in any way connected to your post regarding "ride".

Maybe your "ride" concerns are related to road conditions or temperature more than a problem with your vehicle (?).
