Ed Hall
My 1993 Allante with the Northstar engine doesn't seem to be running as well as I think it should. It currently has 64,000 miles on the odometer. This morning when I took it out for a run, the engine kept cutting out momentarily at lower rpms and at idle but the engine would always catch itself before completely dying. It seemed to even out after the engine completely warmed up. Also, it always starts right up when the engine is cold but if I start the engine when it is warm, it sometimes takes excessive cranking to get it started. My fuel economy is also not as good as when I fist bought the car. I remember getting 27 mpg driving it easy, but now, I have never seen anything higher than about 23 mpg. City gas mileage is especially bad. I'm lucky to get 13 mpg. When I select instant gas mileage, and coast at 50 mph, the intantaneous gas mileage only climbs to about 45 mpg. I have no codes. Could it be a faulty FPR?
Ranger
FPR would be first on my hit list based on your description.

stsjoe
With the warm start problem I would definitley replace the FPR, classic symptom
