Wipers and Washers don't work after SIR coil replacement.

I had the SIR coil replaced due to an error message to service air bags when I was out of town on a trip with my 2001 STS. I never checked the wipers and washers since it was a sunny day in CA. Now that some rain is forecasted, I found that neither the wipers nor the washers work. I called the repair shop that handled the install of the SIR coil, but they were unable to help. Since they are 200+ miles away, I am trying to troubleshoot the problem myself. All of the connectors are secure under the dash, and I checked all of the fuses in the under hood junction box with an ohm meter and the fuses in the under the rear seat junction box.

All check OK. I have the following voltages at the harness end of the connector to the wiper motor with the ignition on and the wiper control set to high - pin D =12v, pin F =12v, pin G = .04v, pin H = 2.37v, pin J = 9.83v, pin K = 11.05v. Please advise if anyone can help with this problem. Thanks. Smooth808

When I lived in L.A. I found that sometimes my wiper blades would stick to the windshield if I hadn't used them in a long while, which was more the rule than the exception. Sometimes I could break them loose by putting the wipers in High but you can pull them both off the glass by hand to guarantee that they are unstuck. If that doesn't do it, get the OBD II codes. They will tell what the car internal testing sees with the washer/wipers. Here's how to get the codes:

Write them down and post them here. If there are no codes, someone with a 2001 factory shop manual (FSM) will look at the connector and schematic and use your voltage readings to see what may be wrong.

There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises

Thanks for your reply. I forgot to mention that there were no codes. The wipers are not stuck to the windshield, plus the washers don't work either.
