Also, you can't beat the lifetime warranty. Ordered my Arnott rear shocks today. Planning on installing them Christmas week. I want to replace my front struts. cyrez00 Posted December 10, 2007 Report Share Posted December 10, 2007 I have ACDelco's on the front and Arnott's in the back (long story... don't ask) I wish i had bought the Arnott's for the front end as well..... Rear replacement took me 30 minutes of actual tooling time per side. (not counting the beer/sigaret/chat to neighboor/sigaret/beer breaks) Important you have the correct tools though, otherwise it can become a nightmare. On the top of the original shock (assuming you still have those) you will need to have a Torx bit of the proper size and from good quality. On my car i managed to screw up two bits before i went out (pissed off!) and got me a complete new high quality set (don't get me started on the price of that!!!!) Even with the new set i was afraid they would break because of the forces i needed to apply to them but luckily enough they managed to hold that time on both sides of the car. Good luck! Marc.
