BodybyFisher
Sometimes lots of codes can be caused by a bad battery or bad battery connections. bobby d
Sometimes lots of codes can be caused by a bad battery or bad battery connections. Does the car suffer from driveability issues? The battery loads tests good and it was replaced six months ago. I have unplugged just about every connector that i could to check. The car seems to drive ok.

Since you have NO symptoms you could be getting a bad power feed that will give off codes. MAKE sure that the connections are TIGHT and CLEAN. Did you do the load test in the last week? If not, NEVER assume that a battery is good because its 6 months old. These cars are very sensitive to bad connections and weak batteries. I am really surprised that you don't have symptoms with the P0300 and P0302. You have something wrong with the #2 cylinder. Check wires, plugs, coils, injector flow, poor wire routing can interfere with injector pulses (EMF), if they are aftermarket wires that is a problem also. The platinum plugs lose their platinum pads and wear quickly. For your information, we don't get a lot of Catera's you might check www.cadillacforums.com, they might have a section dedicated to Catera. The battery connections are very clean and tight. I load tested the battery yesterday it went down to 11.1 volts. On the missfie I tighten up the hose clamps on the intake boots and now the misfire codes are not coming back. It has new plugges from the dealer in it.
