john workman
All, I apologize for the uninteresting post but I need help. I just bought a 2002 seville sls 2 days ago, i managed to program everything to my preference except the radio tone settings. I manually set the bass and treble and midrange, as soon as i change the station by either pressing the button on the radion or by using the steering wheel controls, the tone settings go back to the original settings. I have tried everything possible, i am driving myself crazy thinking how to program the stupid radio. In the owners manual, the section says see you dealer. Someone has the answer, please help!!! happy Thanksgiving!
Ranger
If I remember correctly, you have to set them, then press the memory set button. You have to do this for each station individually. I had the same problem.

OynxSTS
Yes to what the Ranger says... these radios remember the "equalizer" setting for each preset separately... This is a cool (but confusing) feature. With it, you can have one preset for a country station, another for a talk radio, a third for jazz, and something else for Rock, Pop, etc etc etc... Easin' down the highway in a new Cadillac, I had a fine fox in front, I had three more in the back ZZTOP, I'm Bad I'm Nationwide Greg
