caddyctsowner
I have a 2004 CTS with 60K miles. I hear a crunching noise from the passenger front end when I put a load on it by turning a hard left or hitting a good bump. However, I cannot replicate the noise by jumping up and down on the front passenger side bumper. Should I be looking at the wheel bearing, suspension, tie rod ends, or struts? Ranger
My gut feeling from your description is a strut bearing.

TDK
CTS Owner, The strut bearing-mount may very well be the noise problem. However, a number of members on the forum have noted that at times - a Mother-in-Law simply thrown in the trunk or loosley tied to the roof can also make a lot of unpleasent noises as well. You might check to see if you have used enough duct tape to secure her to the front fender! Happy thanksgiving... Add power to leave problems behind. Most braking is just - poor planning.
