2000 Deville DHS -- Check Stability Info Message

Recommended Posts

My 2000 Deville has recently been displaying an info message to check the stability control. Everything on the vehicle seems to run perfectly. Is this something that I should take the vehicle in for servicing, or is it something which I can troubleshoot myself? Vehicle has 41,700 miles.

Thank You

After looking up these codes, I really dont know if they are serious or not- do I just reset these codes and see if they reappear, or should I take in for servicing-- I still dont know if "Check Stability" message is actual or not

Thank You

The C1287 is causing your stability message. Clear all the codes and see what returns after a few days of driving.

Thank you for the help-- will clear codes and see what happens after a week.

As I said earlier, vehicle is running flawlessly so I hope it was just a fluke.

I am new to this forum, and would like to say thanks to everyone for being so helpful

Thanks Again

Tim
