jlinde
I have found a 100 000 mile 93 engine and a remanufactured 4T80 for my 94 STS project with a shot engine. A made a compression test on the engine I am going to use it had low values on number one cylinder so I took the heads off and it is an exhaust valve seat together with the same valve guide. To fix this the right way I think I should put new bronze exhaust valve guides into the heads. I found a company in California (SI VALVES) that have Northstar valve train parts.(even guides) I have to leave the work to a machine shop but I would like to hear about experiences here on this subject./Jan L
