scottt
The DIC on my Seville recently said STABILITY REDUCED and the ABS and Traction Control lights came on. Is this a normal function of the traction control system? Thanks
Dasher
Traction Control is entirely dependent upon the anti-lock brakes. If your anti-lock brake lights are on, then the anti-lock brakes are not functioning and the Traction Control can't either. If you find out what the problem is with the Anti-Lock Brakes, the Traction Control will probably work fine.
Dasher
Forgot to say, though I guess it goes without saying, that w/o the Anti-Lock Brakes and the Traction Contol, the stability will, indeed, be reduced.
Maximln
The Stabilitrak system also uses the anti-lock brakes so that is why it is not working either. Max
