rrdrerup115
I have a 01 STS with a Delco Bose sound system. The other day, I started the car and the display said something to the effect of a CD load problem. I tried to switch CD's in the 6 CD changer, then switch to FM. It now displays only 'Driver 2 Pre-sets', and then goes blank. Will it help to pull the fuse and maybe allow the unit to reset? It was working fine before this problem seemed to have jammed it. Thanks.
Ranger
Pull the power and see if that helps. Can't hurt.
Logan
Many a Cadillac AMP have been replaced by dealers for this. Where the real problem was a communication error on the Class 2 data line between the radio and the amp. My 2001 Deville radio quit working the day after I bought it. Even my GM Tech 2 could not 'talk' to either the radio or the amp. Disconnect the battery...reconnect. All has been fine for 4 years.
