Playtime98
Was on my way out for a Sat. night cruise when i noticed my headlights weren't on. The knob was in the on position, e-brake was off, dome overide was off. Fogs still worked and the hi-beams still worked. Since i've never had both go out at the same exact time, i thought it might be the fuses. Nope, both fuses were fine. I know the obvious first thing to trouble shoot is the bulb's themselves, but i didn't feel like unbolting the rods and pulling the whole assembly out if i didn't have to. So after taking out the assembly, i saw that the driver side low beam bulb (filament) was blown. I pulled the other assembly, and saw that the passenger side bulb looked to be intact. I know that sometimes looks can be decieving, and the bulb is blown, but i don't see anything wrong with it. My question is, If one bulb goes out, does it automatically diable the other bulb? Ranger
I doubt it. If that were the case you'd never see any "one eye'd pete's" on the road. Besides, it's better to have one light than none. They'd never engineer in a total headlight failure.
