Farley5454
Ive got a 00 DTS with 160,000 miles and just started to notice a road noise on right front wheel. It almost sounds like something is rubbing on the tire, not a metal-on-metal type of noise. It's audible at around 20 mph and get higher pitch as I increase speed. I checked tire, and looked for anything obvious. I have had suspension codes and the car is riding low, so I need struts. Could the noise be related? Or am I gonna need a wheel bearing (along with other high mileage fixes)
Ranger
Do some "S" turns like a Nascar driver warming his tires. Does the noise come and go as the bearing is loaded and unloaded? If so, you need a hub & bearing assembly.

Ranger
I guess it is possible, but we rarely hear of that. Are you sure it is not tire noise?

Do a search under LOGAN, he had to replace a bearing on the passenger side output shaft if I recall, Mike Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm

Dasher
My 2000 STS has had 3 wheel bearings and it has 132k miles. That would be my guess.
