On the brake pedal arm there are 2 switches. One for the brakes and one for the VCC in the transmission. It could just be out of adjustment. The brake switch is the top one.

Not sure as I have never had to do it, but I think it is in the reservoir and is serviceable (replaceable).

Engine pings bad under heavy throttle, dispite bodybyfishers statement it can,t. Maybe a defective knock sensor but other than that it runs ok. Thanks.

Bad sensor or EGR maybe, though none of those codes are related to either. however, I am not sure if P0174 - Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 2 (which would indicate a vacuum leak) would help cause it.
