walken1414 Posted July 15, 2007 Report Share Posted July 15, 2007 i just bought a 1998 seville sls that has a problem. it has a omege echo remote starter that seems to be bad. the car will have a dead battery in the morning if i leave it hooked up. i pulled all the cables to check the drain and every thing is normal untill i hook the power wire to the remote up. does anybody know how to or where i can find info about taking the system out. thanks for youre help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Perhaps if you can find the installation instructions, you can do them in reverse. They also appear to have a "ask a tech" link. I am not familiar with the product, but it appears that the "Echo" name is the name of the transmitter, http://www.caralarm.com/manuals/Accessories/echo-2.pdf and that the security device has a separate name?
