What my girlfriend made for my birthday...

Recommended Posts

My girlfriend made this really cool shadow box for my birthday this past wednesday. I was suprised as heck! I thought it was really cool and I thought this forum would be a place to appreciate this piece of art. It's pictures cut out of all my previous/current cadillacs (except the 75, that didn't fit). She made a chevy one too with all my chevys, let me know if you'd like to see that one too. Here it is:

Very Nice!

Oh, and Happy Birthday! ;)

Had I owned that many Cadillacs I'd be about 70 years old. And then there were the Chevies . . . How many?? I'm

guessing you to be about 90 years of age.

Many happy returns,

Warren :P

P.S. Yes, I'd like to see the Chevy one.

There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises

i dont know what is more impressive, your ownership of the various models or

the shadow box ..

you need to aquire an Allante and a Escalade in your history for the next shadow box.

i want to see the Chevy shadow box.

Happy B-day ... ! bdaycake.gif

Profile reads 22 years of age.

Ok, I'm officially jealous. At 22 years of age, I drove a 1978 Datsun F10, possibly the ugliest car ever made.

02WhiteSTS is doing very well at a young age.

LOL, I'm not 90 years old! I do feel like it somedays though...

Thanks everybody for saying happy birthday! And happy birthday to you too, thu!

psychodad, that is a lot of cars. I'll probably have about that many by then too.

Stealth, actually its funny you mentioned those two vehicles, I was just looking at an Allante the other day near Fargo, ND. 8,400 bucks, black, convertible, 1991 with 12000 miles. I also was looking for an escalade too awhile ago to trade my suburban in for, but I couldn't part with the suburban.

teb, yes, I'd have to agree, that is really ugly

I'd have to have a couple more shadow boxes to fill in my cars that I've owned: 81 Caprice (first car and I still have it), 87 Mercury cougar, 91 explorer, 97 explorer, 93 eagle vision, 86 Ranger, (see the transition to GM?)91 Buick Century, 99 Yukon, 99 Lumina, 01 Monte Carlo and 75 Eldorado. The ones that are in the shadow boxes are: 97 seville, 02 seville, 95 seville, 90 deville, 78 chevy big ten, 01 3/4 ton suburban, 84 3/4 ton suburban, and 92 chevy truck. I've owned a totla of 19 vehicles so far. I've never counted them before, that is insane.

Here is the chevy shadow box:
