Well, i finally change the alternator, thermostat and the left front wheel bearing on my 95 STS Seville this weekend and it all went on without any major problems!

The biggest problem was how to get the alternator out, according to Haynes repair manual u can remove the alternator without draining the coolant system but thats impossible!

I had to drain the coolant, remove the radiator completly and also remove the front with the headlights in it, but that wasnt so bad, it was screwed on with 6 screws so it came off easily!

I was going to change the coolant and thermostat anyway so..

Now the engine keeps cooler at driving, between 93-96 celsius.

The wheel bearing came off easy too.... took about an hour to change it!

I added some pics to show how i proceeded!

Best regards Jänkarn from Sweden

You can put your pictures on a free web site and link to them here, and they will load full-size just like they were on this site. Look at this link:

It's free and lots of people use it here for photos of their cars, scanned-in information, and photos of work in progress -- just what you need to do.

Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
