Do a topic search, this has been beat to death SORRY but there is no source other than your friendly helpful Cadi dealer.... Just suffered the same problem and did the same as you looked for a source, none found. Dealer "fixed" me right up.

If you read this thread you will see there are no alternatives, I tried to get MOOG to produce replacement bushings but they are not a bushings they are cross axis ball joints and difficult to manufacture.

I have to replace mine also. I plan to go to www.gmotors.com to buy mine. Keep in mind that you are driving a 10 year old car and I am driving an 11 year old car. Stuff needs replacing. Of your first five posts two come across as disgusted this one and the one where you described the 4T80E as 'bulletproof". Try to keep a positive attitude about this stuff, and to relay a positive attitude. Positive attitudes tend to get MORE help here. You may have heard this before but this is an enthusiasts board, we tend NOT to get pissed or frustrated with these cars as they are pretty amazing. Plan to spend a LOT of money maintaining your car, its 10 years old and WILL need replacements. If you do not do your own work, I suggest that find a cheap mechanic and start doing your own work with the help of the service manual and this board or buy a new car with a warranty. You are going to need repairs on a ten year old car, if you are going to moan about that, its necessary to buy a new car with a warranty or a better used car or one that requires less repairs.

Some one once told us this, you either have a NEW car WITH a warranty (that takes care of repairs) and pay a monthly CAR PAYMENT, OR, you have a USED car with NO WARRANTY and NO MONTHLY PAYMENT and YOU pay for REPAIRS!!! When the monthly REPAIRS exceed the cost of a NEW CAR PAYMENT its time to buy a NEW car or buy a USED car that is in better shape and needs less repairs.

There is no free lunch. That's why it makes sense to me to do my OWN repairs...

Try gmotors.com for the knuckles that are expensive..

For the record, I used to replace upper control arm bushings in my Dad's 59, 62, 64, 65, 66, 68 Caddy's and it gets me really pissed off that I have to replace the entire knuckle assembly, its such a waste! To spend +$350 for the entire assembly when a replacement ball joint might cost say $40 is ridiculous!

By the way welcome aboard. Do you have a PDF copy of your owners manual? Use the search function to find things in the archives, we have covered virtually everything and beat it to death...
