canyoncaddy
Is there a way to fool the computer into thinking it's ok to program an address into the Nav system when your driving? It's not always feasable to stop your car to program a new destination. This is for an '04 Escalade.
weephee
Are you sure you want to do this. Typing in a code to watch a dvd while driving is dangerous enough even if occasionally glancing at the screen but to put in a destination while driving takes your eyes off the road for far to long. It can be difficult enough to punch in a destination while in park never mind doing it while driving. In answer to your question, you may be able to do it by using some code sequence but a very dangerous move.

As a driver, yes, but when you have a passenger in the car, there should be a way to allow them to input an address. For example, when the car reads there is a passenger, and turns on the air bag, it should prompt you with typical lawyer crap about confirming you are not the driver and it's ok to proceed.
