Jeff Wilson
Since I have replaced my FPR it seems that my car has alot more power when I put it to the floor. Is it me or is this possible? The reason for the replacement was due to stubborn hot starts. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining just curious...
JohnnyG
Since no one has yet replied to your post, here are my thoughts. I'd say it is definitely a possibility. FPR's do just what they say, regulate pressure. If your old one was not providing enough constant pressue to your injectors, it would be obvious to me that you would not have been getting enough fuel in high demand situations. This could occur if the seat was damaged, if it works as a bypass regulator......allowing fuel to continually return to the tank. Did the change resolve your hot start situation? Never underestimate the amount of a persons greed.
Jeff Wilson
Thanks for the response Johnny. Yes the replacement of the FPR has corrected my hot start problem she fires right up now. Previously the car would crank for several seconds before firing up and occacsionally I would have to try a second time.
