GOSH, I want an XLR

I would LOVE to have a Cadillac XLR, any year. I have been excited about how the prices of used XLRs have been coming down lately. Then I saw one for 30k....yes 30k on ebay!!! But (IMO) they have ruined this car, even at this price, you wouldn't catch me driving it.

*sigh* I really will be 50 before I can afford a (nice) XLR

XLR for 30k - buy it now on ebay

i know, right? This line in the description best sums it all up:

" I have yards of the alligator patterned purple leather for the buyer."

The Oregon tree hugger has some purple tie-dye tee shirts that go with the car. It kills me when sellers list the names of famous people who did tackie work for them.....like that makes it ok. clowns.

:( That was the sadest looking cadillac I have ever seen. Poor car.

My oldest son's live-in girlfriend for 6-years - would have DIED for that car.

She painted the master bedroom/bath in our house in Reno purple and bright green (with orange highlights) when they lived there. My wife could never understand how she was ever able to apply makeup...

The girlfriend has been gone a couple years now. My oldest son married a regular person and my youngest son still lives there. We finally got enough paint (a LOT) over the hidious colors inside (along with new ceramic tile flooors, counters etc).

Oddly enough, I still like the lilac color that I painted the entire outside of the house for her and my oldest son.

I have to say - that car would have looked right at home!

Add power to leave problems behind. Most braking is just - poor planning.

my STS is amethyst in color. yes, i picked the color, not my wife. I like the color. the flames do not bother me. yes they look out of place but they could be removed. besides, I am a MN viking fan so they are always a few purple/violet cars running around the area.

I've actually found it that it's rare to see a MN person a fan of the vikings. All my friends in college when I went to NDSU in Fargo, ND were from the Minneapolis area and none of them were vikings fans! One of my friends was actually from your area, it's a nice town.

the color of the car doesn't bother me, it's the flames and mostly the interior.

P.S. - darn it sold! ;)

Joking aside, for the right person that was a steal!
