jschunke
It's a 94 Seville Northstar. Coolant sprays out just forward to one of the green heater hoses when pressure tested. It doesn't start streaming out until 12 PSI is applied. It's impossible to see back there. So the exact source of the leak is unknown. To circumvent the dreadfull task of removing the water pump housing I replaced the stock 16 PSI surge tank cap with a 7 PSI cap. So far the leak appears to have decreased. Halleluja. JimD
Good fix, but I hope you consider that to be a temporary bandaid to buy some time. You sure want to get the hose problem repaired before you really need the boiling point protection that a 16 psi cap will provide. Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CHOOSE ONE !
