speedyman_2
http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dda/deta...&cardist=25 What do you guys think? What's a fair price to offer. KBB.com says around $15K. I'm trying to get out of there with paying 12-13K including my '98 STS as a trade. We'll see how it goes.

Bruce Nunnally
Everything depends on condition and service records, so it is hard to say. Generally I would try to get it for under what the book shows as the trade value. speedyman_2
Everything depends on condition and service records, so it is hard to say. Generally I would try to get it for under what the book shows as the trade value. Well looked at the car and they want $12,988 for it. Perfect exterior. 52,228 miles. HID lights, sunroof. Everything I wanted in my last STS but couldn't get at the time. Only one problem. It's been smoked in. Bothered my throat really badly. And, the condition of the interior is nice, but not as nice as my Seville, which has 141,000 on it. A few tears on some fabric. And a tiny burn mark. I can't find anything as nice as my '98 141K STS!!! I may just keep it and take out a loan and do repairs if I can't find anything! I'm still on the hunt though. Oh, and they only wanted to give me $3,000 for mine.
speedyman_2
One other question. What's with the 2000 and up shifter knob? They all seem to be really dark. Almost a purple. As well as a hazed look too. And, why did Cadillac put a grayish steering wheel and column in cars with a lighter interior color like Shale. I actually prefer the 98 interior over these newer cars.
