97 Deville rear brake tools?

Recommended Posts

Im going to be doing the rear brakes on a 97 deville this weekend. Does anybody know what tools I am going to need other than the brake cube and allen wrench? I would like to get the socket to remove the e brake bracket but I dont know what size it is. Any help would be appreciated.

might need a hammer to give the caliper a little "boost" out of the bracket

If you ar going to replace the rotor or remove it to have it turned, you will need an 18mm socket or better yet a box wrench to get the caliper holder out of the way.

If I'm not mistaken the e brake clip is between 10mm and 15mm. A basic metric set will have what you need.
