Cadillac CTS VLOG4: Measuring Acceleration

Recommended Posts

This video discusses issues related to measuring acceleration using a Race Technology AP-22, and shows a live demonstration. The resulting 0-60 time of 6.05 sec for my CTS 3.6L is not as good as my best of 5.95s but is representative.

Uses CruiseCam camera mount, Kodak C875 camera, AP-22, 2005 Cadillac CTS 3.6L

Blow-up from the video before conversion etc showing the 0-60 mph result, since it is too hard to see on the video.

Same video, finally got it up and processed correctly at Google Video.

Since they will take a larger file, the resulting video retains somewhat better quality, but if you watched the livevideo version then this is the same thing.

I was distracted by the corvette too. I think I'll be getting an AP-22 at some point. I can hope for a CTS, at this point, hope is the key word :P

The Green's Machines
