winterset Posted February 23, 2007 Report Share Posted February 23, 2007 You need to take the radio to an authorized delco cluster/radio repair facility. they connect the radio up to hardware that clears out the VIN that get's written into the radio's memory of the first car it's connected to. there is no key sequence for Cadillac theftlock radio's. When I took mine in, there was no charge, but I suspect it can cost $20 or so. you might want to try to give the tech a tip. You might want to call up a dealership that's close to you to get the repair facility they use, then call them, then pay them a visit. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
peduncan Posted February 24, 2007 Report Share Posted February 24, 2007 I actually had to remove the radio and send it away to the regional repair centre. I forget how much it cost but it worked perfect when I got it back and reinstalled it. The guy at the car audio place the Cadillac dealer told me they used couldn't reset the codes for some reason.
