1. the left turn signal and the lights on buzzer (after key removed) does not sound off

2. cruise control does not seem to engage, so I can set it

Have you checked the fuses yet? Thats where I would start. Do you have a manual that has the fuse chart? Left turn signal could be a burned out bulb. Cruise control could be the brake switch needing adjustment.

I had unscrewed the bezel on the left tail light and the tab on the lens cracked (so I didn't pull the lens yet), temperatures are just above zero

I wanted to know what bulb it used (I think they are 1157), but I want to switch to LED bulbs

does the buzzer plug into the fuse box, I do not have a diagram

I noticed the rod for the cruise control has a pin in it that can be adjusted

if I move the pin in, will it engage when I throw the switch on the dash

Maybe the cruise is frozen.

I doubt I'd work at just above zero where you are.

Man that's cold in that part of the woods.

Good luck.

Usually the cruise control issues I've had in the past relate to vacuum - make sure to check your connections...possibly obtain a new CC unit at a junkyard. Not at those temps, though ;)

I got the turn signal issue fixed

will have the vacumn unit check out by mechanics

all the fuses are good

the warning buzzer for the lights on and/or keys left in ignition quit working

is that a part I can buy or is it a wiring issue

Probably a wiring issue but something you can bypass...back in the day I bought a GM buzzer at the dealer that you can splice into your h/l fuse. The unit buzzes when lights are on/ignition is off. IIRC, it was only a few bucks and a five-minute install.

Man, the noise that thing made made sure I turned my lights off :)
