Poobah Posted December 20, 2006 Report Share Posted December 20, 2006 I always thought the electric pulldown was pretty cool and was sorry to see it go. Five months with my 2000 Deville has changed my mind, however. The trunk lid latches quite easily without having to slam it and I don't worry about service people breaking the pulldown device if they slam it (which has happened to me in the past).
