Astrak
So today I put in my IPC that originally came with the car because the one I bought from the junkyard a few months ago crapped out. It's wierd though with this IPC in the car rides smoother and the transmission shifts smoother, maybe it's just me but would the IPC have anything to do with this? Ranger
I wouldn't think so.
Astrak
I was thinking maybe for the ride because it would control the CCR differently, because the old IPC came from a 93 SLS.
Ranger
I would not expect that to be controled by the IPC.
Astrak
The IPC has something to do with it but I think the CCR module controls most of it. I guess it's just me but I really do like having a fully functioning IPC with all the lights working it looks really good.
GreenMachine
might be removing it defaulted the car back to factory spec for shift points and such. The Green's Machines 1998 Deville - high mileage, keeps on going, custom cat-back exhaust 2003 Seville - stock low mileage goodness! 2004 Grand Prix GTP CompG - Smaller supercharger pulley, Ported Exhaust Manifolds, Dyno tune, etc 1998 Firebird Formula - 408 LQ9 Stroker motor swap and all sorts of go fast stuff
Astrak
So what does the Prom in the back of the IPC do?
