My first Caddy!

Yes, I do believe that the correct final drive must be used. My digital display is also a touch different than what my analog speedometer shows, if I go in through the OBC and look at the digital speed. I don't know why it wouldn't match exactly to the speedometer. If I recall, it is a bit lower, like Patrick's.

Unfortunately, even the same nominal size tires can really be different. Not a BIG difference, but at speed, it might show up as a 1 mph difference. The Michelin X Radial tires I have now are 26.6" tall. The Michelin Pilot XGT H4s that I used to run were 26.9" tall. Both in the nominal size of P225/60R16.

It sure is.

I was just reading your post about the Tranny Thing. You did get me with your post Caddy Sucks...

Anyway,I had that probem when I bought the car,an it was under warranty.Dealer gave me the un around, and I had to pay out of my pocket.I really wanted a '95 STS and since it was Cabarnet Red, and a real good deal, I did nit mind paying $ 1200 for them to fix the Input Speed sensor.

I have been busy buying a house, having more kids and haven't had the time to keep up with communicating on this web site.

I do miss miss the old days though...

Double H,BBobinski,Scotty.Etc.

The only one I remember is Bruce, and JasonA.

Jason still has his SLS,Bruce gave up on the STS.

I'll never give up my STS..

Don't you miss the old conterversy stuff? I DO..
