JasonA
Now I DO like wagons, and it IS cool looking! I instantly noticed that as a mid-80s A-body wagon. Chevy Celebrity, Pontiac Safari, Olds Cutlass Cruiser. Mom had an '85 Cutlass Cruiser. Even had the "wing" above the rear window like that one has. That was a great car, with the 3rd rear facing row. ted tcb
Nice find, Jay. The lines sure look funny on that 3/4 shot ... looks like a safari wagon rammed into the back of the Fleetwood. 1989 FWD Fleetwood, Silver 1995 STS Crimson Pearl on Black leather 1997 STS Diamond White 1999 STS Crimson Pearl 2001 STS Silver 2003 STS, Crimson Pearl
PAUL T
I always wondered if a 93-96 Fleetwood front clip could be grafted onto a Roadmaster. This guy did a pretty good job, I sort of like it.
Poobah
The idea isn't bad, but the execution just doesn't look natural. To my eye, the rear quarter window would look better if the top aligned with the top of the rear door window, if it was a tad shorter front to back, and if the front edge better matched the slant of the door seam. It just looks line the added piece is just that, added on. The hump in the roof accentuates the mismatch. It's hard to join body sections from different cars and have the overall result look harmonious. Happiness is owning a Cadillac with no codes.
