Still Amazing

Just a short check-in.

I'm back to running into Chicago every day for work. This beauty just keeps getting better and better. You need power in the Windy City and this is the best. I wouldn't drive in here if I didn't have the Eldo.

The reason I am posting is that since I installed the factory struts that I bought on E-bay, you cannot believe the transformation suspension wise. This is not a dig at the passive strut guys but the car seems to be back to peak handling, and no codes have appeared since.(I'm sitting on a$250 road sensor now- code 260.(left hand)

Anyhow, hope everyone is well and this Eldo just amazing.

Kent,

That's great to hear! It's rare to see posts that are nothing but positive considering that most people, I assume, come on here to find answers to a problem they have. My 94sts has been very good to me so far. Still has many of the original parts (struts, rack, tranny, head gasket, and a few others) and I have very few complaints. Love the power and the timeless look. With the help of this board I'm hoping to enjoy many more miles in the STS.

Hi Kent,

Nice to hear you're lovin your Eldorado. Do you own an ETC or SLS? I'm curious about your new suspension. How much did you pay? I have stock suspension and I think it's a bit too soft. What did the new suspension do to improve the ride?

I have the standard Eldo and I paid $600 for new oem front struts off of E-bay.(a very good price) The car stiffened back up and alot of noises went away.
