fastfreddy
hi all, new member & owner of a 95 sevile sts. Car has been stalling at stop lights. T073 code. I looked it up : T073 .......................... PCM - EBTCM/EBCM Pulse Width Modulation Signal Fault. dont know what this means. Can this be causing my car to stall & sometimes turn off? Seems like all the gauges go crazy, but it then cranks up easy
PAUL T
You probably need to find the PCM and check the connections for corrosion. First, check the battery terminals for tightness and corrosion.

PAUL T
Since I have Deville's I am not sure your STS PCM is in the same area or not. My PCM is behind the glove box.
Ranger
If it's not behind the glove box, it'll be under the air filter box. Not sure what year they moved them there.
jackc
This code points to a communication loss between the PCM and the Brake/Traction contol module. According to my factory service manual, there are a couple of circuits that could be bad - or have bad connections - or there is a possibility of a problem with the PCM. Are you getting any other codes besides this one? Are you getting a light that says traction contol is disabled?
