Caddynut
Well, to update you all first on the starting problem I encountered about a month ago....you guys were right....the starter went.....thank you for turning me on to that solution. Well.....I have another problem. I got a service engine soon light today and pulled the codes. It shows that there is a fuel delivery difference between the front left bank and the right rear bank. Do I have a fuel injector problem or is there a sensor going bad. Asking for your helpful advice again for my 92 Seville...4.9 liter. BodybyFisher
What is the code specifically? I can look in my 91 manual Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
Caddynut
I wish I had saved it. I have a scan tool and erased the code. I am sure it will pop up again and I will post the error code. I just know that it said fuel delivery difference between the banks of the fuel rail. 2008 BMW 328xi 2007 Chrysler Aspen 2001 Cadillac Seville STS 2000 Ford Ranger XLT1998 Mitsubishi Spyder Convertible 1996 Saturn SC-11991 Ford F-1501979 Chevrolet Caprice1968 Ford LTD1965 VW Beetle "Herbie The Love Bug Replica** 1961 VW Beetle

Chances are you still have a hystory code stored. The saddest thing in life is wasted talent
Ranger
I'm not sure if a leaky FPR will cause that, but it is easy enough to check.
BodybyFisher
I was thinking a fuel injector clog or leaking or less likely an O2 sensor. Did the code say something about FUEL TRIM? How is the driveability?
