Bill K
If you havent done so lately I would suggest a new serpentine belt and you can check the tensioner when you chane the belt.

MAC
i just replaced the belt but it was a cheap duralast bellt...i was told one of the pulley, the most southern one was missing a bearing or sometng......does anyone know how much that should cost to replace? The pulley near the A/C compressor is the Idler Pulley. You can buy an ACDelco Idler Pulley at Rockauto.com for $16.94, plus shipping. I bought an aftermarket pulley made by Goodyear of all things for about the same price. So far, no problem. The Goodyear pulley is metal. The ACDelco may be plastic like the original? PAUL T
A/C Tech's will probably tell you to replace the whole thing. Not very many will want to just change the clutch bearings, which can be changed in the car through the wheel well. The bypass belt is 739 or 73.9" long or 740 or 74.0". I think the number is 6k739. Get the belt pretty quick before you lose the refrigerant.
