Bruce Nunnally
Tell me more? QuickTimeCheck Scriptable Object is an activex control used by Apple's Quicktime image and video suite. IF you are getting some error message related to this you might try reinstalling quicktime. JimD
Using IE7 Beta 3. Starting getting the annoying Apple pop-up out of the blue sky just an hour ago. I hesitate to add 3rd party software that I know nothing about and did not request. I'm a 20th century kind of guy!! Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CHOOSE ONE ! Bruce Nunnally
Apparently the quicktimecheck is used to determine IF you have quick time installed. Not sure if our stat checker is calling this, or perhaps some of the nonhosted content. Safe to disregard if you don't want to install the gadget I suppose; if you do install the gadget it should stop the messages.
