Poobah
My 2000 Deville instrument cluster has some dirt or condensation or some kind of crud in it. It is behind the clear plastic surface panel and appears to be on the surface of the lighted display itself. Is this a sealed unit or is there a way to get behind the surface panel and clean the actual display? Thanks for any tips. Happiness is owning a Cadillac with no codes. BodybyFisher
Its probably smoke. Try calling these guys, they have an 800 number and asking them if you can pull out the Instrument Cluster and does the clear plastic come off easily so that you can clean behind it, Mike I have used these guys for Clusters http://modelelectronicsinc.com/home.htm Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
