Astrak
I wouldn't buy from anybody that doesn't speak english, just my personal feelings. Who knows I would have the vehicle looked at by a mechanic so they can tell if the frame has been fixed or what has been replaced and that can kinda tell ya how serious the accident was. For $2000 it doesn't look to bad from the pics.
zonie77
I had a MVD clerk multiply the mileage by 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a pain to have it corrected because I didn't catch it til we left the MVD office.

GreenMachine
Reading those places in which it was registered. Buffalo, NY gets pretty bad winters, and the highway deparments are not shy when it comes to salt. If you do consider it have a look underneth and check to see what kind of rust is forming. The Green's Machines 1998 Deville - high mileage, keeps on going, custom cat-back exhaust 2003 Seville - stock low mileage goodness! 2004 Grand Prix GTP CompG - Smaller supercharger pulley, Ported Exhaust Manifolds, Dyno tune, etc 1998 Firebird Formula - 408 LQ9 Stroker motor swap and all sorts of go fast stuff
epricedright
The accident involved a pedestrian...What's the Big Deal? That certainly wouldn't bend a frame. So Fred, you're backing out of the deal?

MAC
A 94 Eldorado for $2,000 is not bad as long as there are no major problems. Apparently, this car was up for sale on ebay in April and now it’s for sale again. The April ad said it has a CD player. I’m looking at the photos of the most recent ad and it looks like it could be a ETC. Unless the mileage has been misrepresented it must only have 113,748 since there are no guessing games when all one has to do is look at the tachometer. At any rate, whether the car has 113,748 or 122,451, you still have a pretty nice car as long as it has a clean bill of health. Look at it this way, for 2 grand it looks like you bought a ETC(?) with all the trimmings with low mileage for a Northstar. I have almost 208K on my Eldorado and it runs great. If it goes another 100K then you got your monies worth. If you take care of it, hopefully it will go at least another 200K. As far as the accident, it’s probably nothing to worry about since there was probably no damage. If there has been any material misrepresentation regarding the car’s condition you can alert ebay and try to cancel the deal. Otherwise, it doesn’t look that bad. OynxSTS
While I love to buy car parts on eBay, I would NEVER buy a vehicle on eBay unless it was a local one that I could see and drive first hand... Too much fraud, too much BS and just too much risk... Cars ALWAYS look better in a photo then they do in real life... Even if the seller takes pictures from random angles, photos, especially photos compressed for the Web, hide all scratches and dings... Smart sellers can select camera angles to hide all kind of nastiness. Buyer Beware... And yes I too have been a victim of a careless clerk transposing two digits during an annual emissions check... Major pain to get it resolved I might be in the minority here, but it is my opinion that it is a lot harder to alter an electronic Odometer then a mechanical one. Easin' down the highway in a new Cadillac, I had a fine fox in front, I had three more in the back ZZTOP, I'm Bad I'm Nationwide Greg

I agree with you, it is a bad idea to buy from some no englaze joker MerryChristmas Be a Capitalist or work for one. Work for a Capitalist or be one. I searched for the VIN # using Google. The seller says the car is in "very good running condition" so presumably the fuel injector problem was solved? He left a phone number for additional information. Anyway, I would have requested all codes (including History codes) via email so I could evaluate whether the car is worth buying. By communicating in writing there will be a written record. This way, if the seller fails to respond chances are you don't want to buy the car. If, on the other hand, the condition is materially misrepresented then you would be in a justifiable position to cancel the deal and seek the return of your money. As I see it, for 2K the car does not look bad. Obviously, once you have it you will be able to evaluate the situation. If you don’t like it, I would suggest detailing it and selling it immediately. At this point, I wouldn't panic and give myself agita over it.

LINDAL
Put some stainless steel rocker panels on it and a spoiler on the back and it would look like the 94 STS I had!. It was Montana Blue. Is that the color of this one? It looks good in the picutures.
MAC
According to the VIN # you bought the 270HP/300lb.-ft. torque Eldorado. It's therefore not a ETC, which would have a 295HP engine. Anyway, if the transmission and engine are in good shape you will find the 94 Eldorado to be very fast. Just be careful of torque steer, which will cause the car to shift to one side during brisk acceleration. If you should take it out to test acceleration, I'm curious to know what your opinion is and whether the Eldorado’s acceleration is as fast as your 4.9L Seville from a dead stop. I don't have a 1991 Seville... I've owned one though.. A 1991 Seville and a 1991 Eldorado so I know how the 4.9 drives I'd say that the 4.9 is just as good as the Northy below 35-40 mph maybe a little better Well and I think the 91 cad is a lighter car MerryChristmas Be a Capitalist or work for one.
