I have a 95 Deville and in November I noticed that my cruise wasn't working and the outside and indoor temp had dashes instead of numbers like the picture shows. Now that it is winter I've noticed that the heat doesn't do hardly anything at all. The defrost light is lit up and every once in a while when I start my car the interior temp will say 75, but then will go back to the dashes. Any ideas? -
I had an new instrument cluster installed in my 97 Seville and now the dash vents don't function for air flow.

Hey guys, The HVAC blower fan quit working in my 2002 SLS last week. The HVAC system is still powered, I can hear the vents opening/closing when I change modes, some heat comes in at highway speed, and the auxiliary (rear) fan still works. I started by checking the G201 panel attached just in front of the passenger door and it appears fine with no corrosion. The fan stopped without warning (most cases I've read had intermittent problems prior to quitting for good). Then I dropped the panel from under my glovebox and disconnected the blower motor. I figured I'd make sure power was getting to it before attempting a replacement. The blower connector is 3-wire. Uninsulated, purple (center), and black. Regardless of fan position (including having the whole system shut down), I'm getting 30V across the uninsulated and purple wire, and no voltage anywhere else. Is this normal? Anything else I should be checking? Thanks!

I'm replacing the heater core and am putting it back together, but I am confused as to what position the upper and lower actuator rods should be in. can someone enlighten me? thanks

I had a bad blower motor on my 98 Deville base sedan, so I ordered a tyc700108 from Amazon.First one ups lost, ok so they sent another one that didn't work, I sent it back and they sent another one that didn't work. I couldn't believe that I could get 2 bad new units, changed the acm 2 times, checked all the wiring over and over until I found another Deville in the area that I could jump between cars. bad blower motor, Got ahold of amazon and asked if they could test the units before sending it and was told no, also if they sent another and it didn't work, I couldn't return it. So I returned that one and..I went to a salvage yard and got a used one, works like a champ. Still waiting on refund from Amazon.

I have a 98 deville with hvac problems, no blower operation. I have replaced the blower motor with a new one twice, replaced the acm (with used ones )twice, I have 12v and ground at the blower motor,9v to 4 v on the center wire depending on the fan speed setting and even ran a temporary wire ckt 754 from acm to to motor. No trouble codes showing with onboard diag. I check for blower with engine running at operating temp, temp setting at 90 and fan on hi. I've checked all fuses in trunk and under hood. The only other thing I can think of, is ,I'm not sure I can hear the heater doors operating.... Anybody got any ideas? thanks
