Cadillac sales in April were up 5.1% overall for the month, although still down for the year to date. SRX moved over 4,500 units again in April, and CTS made a surprising showing — perhaps best month ever for the new redesign? ATS was flat, still well off the 5K per month target. XTS was down sharply; CTS may be grabbing up all the XTS sales now? Escalade continues to fade. The ELR sold 61 examples, first time it has not sold more per month than previous: 6 in Dec 41 in Jan 58 in Feb 81 in March 61 in April And a new total of 247 ELRs have found new homes. Cadillac January Sales were down 13.2%, with every Cadillac sedan off its pace of a year ago. Only the Cadillac SRX held up its sales, at 4,446 out the door to happy new owners. Cadillac June 2013 Sales Up 14.9% Posted on July 2, 2013by bwnunnally The ATS is now the best selling Cadillac sedan, and the SRX continues to lead crossover/truck sales. Overall Cadillac sales were up for the month versus last year, but not dramatically enough to declare it a great month — total sales were up less than ATS sales for example. Posted on June 3, 2013by bwnunnally Cadillac sales were up 39.9% in May 2013 compared to the same period in 2012 as the ATS at 3,259 and XTS at 2,429 continue to shine. SRX was down slightly but still led all models at 3,744. CTS sales were the lone low light at 2,457 units, or 41% off last year. Cadillac April Sales up 34% in 2013 Posted on May 1, 2013by bwnunnally Cadillac sales were up 34% in April, with momentum led by the new models — ATS and XTS. Cadillac SRX sales were actually down 13%, and CTS sales were off 43% as we look for the new 2014 redesign to arrive in the Fall. Cadillac ATS — Theo Johnson tests the brake system on an ATS Cadillac XTS sales at 2,891, and ATS sales at 2,725 took up the slack, pushing Cadillac to 37% increased sales so far for the year. ATS sales are still below target — this model should be selling at 5K+ per month. Although it appears at first that ATS is cannibalizing CTS sales, 80%+ of ATS sales are conquests, not former CTS customers. Sales for the Cadillac CTS were flat to this period last year, and sales for the Cadillac SRX were down slightly. Oddly the summary GM announcement says “Other highlights include a 7 percent year-over-year increase for the Cadillac CTS sedan, …” but they perhaps mean retail sales as opposed to totals sales?
