P0001 Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit/Open V0001 [is possibly U0001?] U0001 Controller Area Network (CAN) Bus Communication (ECM) P0300 Engine Misfire Detected P0107 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage P0108 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Circuit High Voltage P0325 PCM Knock Sensor Circuit P0306 [is possbily P0326?] P0326 Knock Sensor Circuit Excessive Spark Retard It looks like the wiring harness to the sensors under the beauty cover is pulled off. The MAP sensor is in the center of the intake manifold toward the rear. The spark sensor is under the intake manifold in the "lifter valley" (where the cam and lifters are in an OHV V8). I would start by looking for wiring harness damage or things disconnected when your friend pulled off the FPR. Run the codes again, and this time note which ones are CURRENT.
  2. So after failing emissions twice for HC (CO and Nox close), I decided to pull the intake mainfold (beauty cover) cover to inspect. Fuel is everywhere inside. Thinking FPR. I'm trying to disconnect the injector harness where it goes through the plastic fuel rail holder. Doesn't look like a connector really. See picture below: BTW, that cup where the wires go through was filled to the top with fuel. Fuel kinda looked like some oil in it too, but not sure how that much oil could get in there. I think it's just old fuel that has evaporated over time and "thickened" so to speak, also mixing with the plastics. I'd really like to remove it so I can clean everything up and inspect wires. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks gents.
