Hi all,
Made some front-end repairs to the 2000 Deville and I'm facing similar work on the 2002. This is giving me incentive to upgrade. I'm getting too old (actually lazy) for major repairs...........
I am looking at a 2010 DTS to replace the 2002 (higher miles than 2000) and would like some comment on any problems that have been found in that year model - hoping to avoid major problems such as the high overdrive slip that required transmission repairs on both the 2000 and 2002 (out of warranty).
Here's what I am looking at:
2010 Cadillac Model DTS. 17,500 miles. Loaded. One owner. Garaged. Leather Heated/Cooled front seats. Heated steering wheel. 3-zone climate control. Ultrasonic Park Assist. Power Sunroof. 6 CD Player, 8 Speakers/iPod Port. Satellite Radio. Blue-Tooth Controls for Phone. On-Star ready. Carpeted Floormats, PLUS additional set of All-Weather Floormats.
Naturally, this one will be for the loving wife
The present owner bought it from a dealer in 2011, so I am already wondering if something might be wrong.
Any info or experiences would be appreciated.
