  1. That sucks. I really want to do it. I was sure it wasn't going to be such a difficult task, but now I see I might have been wrong. Rockfangd, I have not received a message yet.
  2. My dad just recently bought a 1996 Cadillac Eldorado with the base radio. We want to upgrade the system to a BOSE unit. I don't have an idea what to do other than changing the speakers and radio. Is there any wiring replacing that needs to be done? Amp? Could I buy more recent BOSE equipment from another Eldorado? Like a 2000-2002. What to look for? Does it need to be programmed? I would appreciate your input. Thanks. Caddyjag

  4. I'm selling my 2007 Cadillac SRX, V6 AWD, SPORT Trim, due to financial problems. Here is the craigslist link. Thanks. http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/cto/1590484308.html Caddyjag
  5. Hello, I have listed on Ebay a set of these super rare and hard to get Eibach Springs for the 93-99 Eldorado and for the 93-97 Seville SLS/STS. They were never installed. These were for my Eldo, but had to sell because of the new member of the family. Man, it sure is a pain to get back there with a baby seat. Anyway, here is the link for anyone interested. Thanks. 6. I have listed on Ebay an ultra rare, super hard to get set of New Eibach Springs Pro Kit for 92-99 Eldorado and 93-97 Seville. I believe it should also fit the 200-2002 Eldorado, but I'm not sure, someone here might know. Anyway, selling them since I sold the Eldorado before these were installed. Please take a look. Thanks. 7. Thank you for the replies. I'm pretty convinced I will go ahead and make the purchase of a 2007 SRX V6 fully loaded AWD. I'm not in a hurry, so right now I'm just looking around until I see a deal I can't resist. Hopefully with the arrival of the re-designed 2010 Model, the old generation prices will drop a bit. 8. Hello, I currently own a 98 Eldorado that has been running like a true work horse. That thing is so reliable that the only things I had to do are battery, waterpump, headlight relay and brake pad replacement. This is in the last 4 years. This cold winter temps in Chicago reached -40F and the car started as if it was summer. Now my question is, how reliable are the newer generation Cadillacs? I ask because I've been really hyped about getting a 06-07 used fully loaded V6 AWD SRX within a year, but it seems like a lot of people are having a lot of problems with it and also the CTS. Do any of you current owners have any problems with the newer Caddies, specially the SRX? Here is a link to what I'm talking about. http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/direct/view/.f1260c4/10 Caddyjag
  9. OK, guys here is the update. A guy from work suggested that the problem might have been the headlight relay. So before I played around with the switch module I decided to try putting in an identical relay from the relay compartment into the headlight relay connection. Well it turns out that the problem dissapeared. If I switched the relay for the old one, the problem would appear again. So I just went to the local auto parts store and bought a new relay, which at $16.99 it turned out to be a quite simple and relatively cheap fix. I installed the new relay and the problem is now gone. Thank you all for your suggestions. Caddyjag
  10. Thank you for your responses. Today I will try the suggestions given. Sorry I couldn't thank you any sooner, but I've been extremely busy. Once again, thank you. I'll keep you guys posted. Caddyjag
  11. Hello, I have a very weird problem with the headlights of my 98 Eldo. The problem is that for some reason my headlights and only my headlights will turn on by themselves. All light switches are in the off position. Then they sometimes turn on by themselves and drain my battery. I have tried to turn them off by playing with both the manual and automatic headlight switches, and when I'm able to turn them off and it seems like it will all be OK, the headlights will turn on by themselves in about 10 seconds or so. Has anyone had a similar problem? Can anyone provide any help?? Thanks Caddyjag

  14. I'm selling set of New Eibach Lowering Springs. They have never been installed. I bought them for my Eldorado, but decided not to install them because it's got a pretty high milage already. Box has humidity damage and springs are slighly scratched from the box in storage. The scrapes are barely seen. e-mail me if interested so I can send you some pictures. ulisesfrb@yahoo.com Will Fit Cadillac Eldorado 93-99 and Seville 93-97 Asking $220, I live in the Chicagoland area.
